You will never be bored when you visit New York.  Visiting New York in a day means there will be a million things to do and places to visit. New York is also widely known as the “Big Apple”. It is also a city that never sleeps. There are plenty  of famous landmarks and museums to visit. However, before you start exploring the Big Apple, leave your bags at a luggage storage in New York. It will make exploring the city easier and more convenient. Here are the top things to do in a day while visiting New York.

  • Take Pictures of the Statue of Liberty

You have surely heard of the Statue of Liberty. It is a famous landmark in the United States, so do not miss out on the opportunity to take pictures of the statue. You can take the pictures while riding a ferry or you can take photos from afar at the Battery Park.

  • Revisit History in the Metropolitan Museum of Art

If you are a lover of history and art, you will definitely enjoy exploring the Metropolitan Museum of Art. It is also known as the “Met”. Feel New York’s rush by going to the Grand Square terminal.  Over 800,000 thousand people pass through the cathedral-like railroad terminal every day. It is located in Midtown, Manhattan.

  • Cross the High Line

The elevated greenway and path is over 1.45 miles long. It is built on a rail trail over the west side of Manhattan.  You can visit unique and beautiful districts. It has a great maze-like garden, and it boasts of 300 species of fauna. You will also see a spectacular view of the Hudson River.
